How Brokers Can Reduce Wire Fraud Risk / Information Security
This presentation about real estate wire fraud explains the various and evolving modus operandi – in a comprehensive way that most articles on the subject do not. Online and lower-tech threats are described, and this session covers not only the agent / client attacks but also the incidents that occur inside brokerages and title companies. Once the problem is fully described, methods to reduce risk and liability are explained in substantial depth. The wire fraud presentation can be standalone or in combination with an Information Security presentation that presents problems and solutions at business and/or technical levels.
Length: “Combating Wire Fraud” is a one hour presentation.
Audience: Brokers – but MLSs, Associations, Brokers, and Franchises all engage Clareity for this.
Formats: In-person and webinar.
Length: “Information Security” (which can include “Wire Fraud”) can range from a 45 minute presentation to four hours, depending on focus and depth desired.
MLS Consolidation – Achieving Great Heights without Falling
Clareity provides perspective on how other MLSs have addressed common issues in the consolidation process around ownership, governance, money-flow, and more. This session includes a discussion of issues that have caused consolidation efforts to fail and regional MLSs to break up, and what steps can be taken to reduce those risks – during the consolidation process or for an existing regional MLS. This presentation can be provided in a standalone fashion or be a part of an interactive 1-2 day interactive planning session to initiate MLS consolidation discussions.

Audience: MLS executives and key MLS leadership
MLS Software Landscape
MLSs should regularly consider MLS software options, and decision-makers can avoid the confusion of crowded tradeshow floors by having Clareity present an update on the options. This presentation can focus on the “Big 3 or 4” or explore as many additional options as might make sense for an organization based on size, need for customization, specific business needs, and/or desire for specific features. Often this presentation is the first step in the full system selection process that Clareity facilitates. This presentation can be expanded to cover options for other types of software that MLSs commonly select.
